Cuddly has always been, and will always be, committed to being an 80/20 nonprofit. That means that a minimum of 80% of donations go to our cause and a maximum of 20% can be used for administrative costs and labor. Until now, we’ve operated almost entirely as a 100/0 rescue – 100% to our cause and 0% anything else. We’re very proud of that. We hope to add to our pride by paying people for their work, one day, too! 😊 We will thread that needle carefully, so that your donation is used in the best possible way.
Your donation is tax deductible. Cuddly is a nonprofit 501c3. Our EIN is 93-3148714. (if you have questions about how we use your donations, we hope this link will answer them) [that link is not updated. As we rebuild our site, that will be gotten to!]
Please contact us for other donation options, or to arrange an in-person in-kind donation of items.

Community Cats fund

Our first and most important cause is the cats who live outdoors and the caretakers who provide for them. It is not a small task, agreeing to care for every wandering feline who shows up. Caretakers do it anyway. Other than partially-subsidized TNR costs, caretakers do it all out of their own pockets.
From this aspect of our work, our friends at Cat’s Inn often take in injured or sick cats who are not socialized. They care for them when no one else can handle them. They provide food, shelter, water, toys and human kindness and love. To direct a donation to that work, simply add “Cat’s Inn” as a note or memo on your donation.
Because they’re Community Cats, we believe there’s a community responsibility to lend a hand when it’s needed. From food to help with vet bills and even fostering and adopting, we want to help the caretakers who help the cats. Especially as Winter 2025-2026 is about to setin! Please help us help them.
Join the Peanut Gallery

Peanut helps Cuddly raise kittens while they convert to Indoorism and comforts every distressed animal she meets. This gift of hers surprised her human because Peanut, in general, is a very energetic puppy, herself. But give her someone who needs love, and she’s suddenly all MOM.
In her honor, we’ve created the Peanut Gallery, for those who want to commit to a recurring donation. If she can go from crazy puppy to gentle, loving mother to tiny kittens in the blink of an eye, we think she’s deserving of a little honoring.
Kittens who grow up with a dog are generally more adoptable just because that opens up a whole new world of potential adopters for them: dog owners! That’s a bit of a magical gift that Peanut gives them.
She provides her loves for free, so that your recurring donations can be added to a specific Peanut Gallery fund. This money is set aside for those stressful occasions when we have a cat in need of urgent veterinary care and a caretaker/family who simply can’t afford to say yes. You can say yes for them. Just choose your monthly recurring donation at the link above and GiveButter will direct your donation to this fund.
